Headquartered at Mt. Carmel, the Colorado Veterans Business Outreach Center also has a satellite office at Catalyst Campus for Technology and Innovation. The Colorado VBOC provides counseling, training, technical skill development, comprehensive business assessments, and mentoring services to aspiring and existing business owners who are Active Duty, veterans, members of the National Guard or Reserve, military spouses, and family members. According to the SBA, Colorado has 48,803 veteran-owned small businesses that provide $23 billion to the state economy and employ over 96,000 people.

Joe Reagan

Joe Reagan joins the Colorado VBOC after 20+ years of experience leading change and teams across the defense, technology, and nonprofit sectors. After leaving active duty in the United States Army, Joe earned an MBA from the University of Virginia. His experience spans multiple industries ranging from healthcare to technology, national security and nonprofit work. Prior to joining the Colorado VBOC Joe was the President of NewSpace Global, he has also worked for a number of non-profit organizations supporting the military and veteran community including Easterseals, and Wreaths Across America.

Aaron is the Business Operations Manager for the Colorado Veterans Business Outreach Center, where he brings over 25 years of business experience to support the growth and success of small businesses. His leadership approach is grounded in service and relationship-building, fostering strategic, cross-sector partnerships through deep community engagement and a proven track record in organizational leadership.
Nathaniel Hamilton Thompson

Nathaniel served in the United States Army for seven years, specializing in communications. Following his military service, he pursued higher education and earned dual degrees in Economics and Mathematics from the University of Colorado, Denver. Driven by a commitment to supporting the military community, he joined the Colorado Veterans Business Outreach Center in August 2024. In his role, Nathaniel combines his military experience and financial expertise to help veterans, service members, and their families achieve their entrepreneurial and financial goals.
Corey McFadden

Corey served five years in the U.S. Army before transitioning to civilian life and becoming a small business owner. After running his business, Corey worked in merchant services, teaching classes for business owners on payments, operations, and growth strategies. He leverages hands-on entrepreneurial experience and practical training to help fellow veterans navigate startup and scaling challenges. Corey enjoys sharing lessons learned from both military service and business ownership to help veterans avoid common mistakes and accelerate their success. He is dedicated to helping veterans achieve their business dreams.
